but my training is finally over. As of Monday I am a real employee as apposed to a pretend one LOL!
Training was pretty cruisey although getting myself and two kids dressed and out the door every morning by 7am was a challenge…please to announce that I wasn’t late once. The first two days were spent at Swanston Street for the Sales Force induction before heading to Franklin Street to begin Foxtel training. Initially we were a group of 50 plus but were split into two groups once we started at Franklin Street. I was lucky enough to be a part of the smaller group (16) and to say that we all just clicked would be an understatement. Lynsey ( a Scottish traveller) and I had been together since our interview and we certainly had some fun, along with gorgeous Miss Keiya, Raissa, Blainey, Link, Dan, Michelle, Leon and Jess.
To celebrate the end of our training we had drinks at the Stork on Thursday night and then a pool party/BBQ at Dan’s on Friday night. I am so going to miss being able to hang out together, especially at lunch, as most of them are doing the morning shift.
In other other news…I have almost finished my Christmas shopping, just my Mum and Dad as well as my brother-in-law David to go. The thought of having to wrap the mountain of presents I have hidden in my wardrobe is frightening, to say the least. Oh and I still have to buy for Andrew and for the first time ever I have absolutely no idea what to get him.
Can’t believe my first baby finishes Prep in just four short days…where has this year gone? She is very excited about being in Grade 1 next year and Miss G is excited to be going to “big” girls kinda too. On the toilet training front I think we have finally done it. Last night she went to bed with undies on and was completely dry this morning. She did wake up once at about 3.30am to go to the toilet but got her self out of bed. She has had undies on all day and not one accident. We have even been out all day shopping, so this is a huge step.
Well that’s all I think of for now…need to go and put some more washing on.
Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend and if I don’t get a chance to post beforehand I hope everyone has a happy, healthy and safe Christmas.
